Moulton U18’s continued their recent strong run of form with an impressive win away at Whitworths.
After a shaky opening 20 minutes, Moulton settled into the game and took the lead through Mo Kahn. Not long after, Hugo Neve doubled the advantage and was as solid as ever throughout, putting in a composed and reliable performance.
Whitworths responded just before half-time, capitalising on a mix-up at the back that resulted in an own goal, making it 1–2 at the break.
A tactical reshuffle at half-time proved effective, as Moulton came out stronger in the second half. Sheku Kamora extended the lead with a well-taken third, before Mo Kahn grabbed his second of the game to make it four and effectively put the match beyond reach.
Substitute Toby Sainsbury made a great impact off the bench, helping to seal the game and cap off a strong team performance.
Credit to a physical Whitworths side who never stopped working throughout the match.
Man of the Match: Ralph Olawole-Shiwoku (sponsored by AM Bathrooms) for a standout performance, closely followed by Joe Parsans and Mo Kahn, as well as Toby Sainsbury for his impact off the bench.
