A bitingly cold Sunday afternoon and game played in great spirits by both sides.
Cory Hellenic started brightly and went 1-0 after 2 minutes. The best laid plans, Oops.
Moulton got themselves back into the game after 5 minutes with Emma finishing well… and following up a few minutes later to give Moulton a 2-1 lead.
Chelsea finally found her shooting boots that had been AWOL for the last 2 months, with a quick fire double, to give Moulton a HT lead of 4-1.
In the second half, on a perfect surface to play football, Moulton played some excellent football and gave another superb all round team performance to run out eventual winners 11-2. Corby Hellenic had their chances and played some good football.
Credit goes to Corby who are in a rebuilding stage of their team, similar to ourselves last summer.
Well done to all involved.
Special thanks to the Ladies commitment with Wilma coming back from Brum to play some of the game, Hilary coming back from Bristol for 2nd half, Emma P coming from Kent to play football and Sim for a double header and Kira for playing as much as she could before dashing off to work. Great team spirit and commitment Ladies and results show what we can achieve together.

Such a shame that the linesman was caught on camera running on the pitch. Should never happen.!
