Always a difficult place to go, away to Bugrbooke FC. Especially with the painful memories of our last encounter where Bugbrooke FCdestroyed us 8-3. First order of the day was to be better as a total defensive unit. The first half was a tight affair with Moulton having the better of the 1st half chances, however Bugbrooke FC got themselves ahead with a cruel ricochet deflection on a clearance. HT 1-0 to the home team.
Moulton had not done a lot wrong and there was an interesting battle in midfield between both teams with both sides looking to play some good football.
The second half was very much the same with Moulton probing and Bugbrooke breaking quickly. Moulton grabbed an equaliser when Cats dangerous corner was put away with a decisive header from Alex for 1-1. With both teams having their moments in an enjoyable game to watch if a little frustrating from a finishing point of view. Moulton won a free kick out wide with a minute to go..., Alexa putting it right in the mixer with both teams throwing themselves into challenges it was Georgia who turned and hit a shot that seemed to evade everyone in slow motion for 1-2 with seconds remaining.
FT 1-2 and a valuable away victory! Well done Ladies and we look forward to next weeks cup match away to Brackley.
