After 5 minutes of Moulton pressure, Sarah tried a shot that Desborough's keeper did well to keep out with a sprawling save. Steph was following up and stuck out a leg, made contact and the ball smacked against the crossbar. Just a minute later, Fi got nosebleed being so far forward. She had a shot and another sprawling save by the keeper. On 8 minutes Desborough broke and Wiki chanelled back to cover and the shot narrowly cleared the post. A welcome return from Wiki's travels and she looked remarkably fit and ready for football.
Next a knock down header from Steph found Shannon who had a shot, again saved by the Desborough keeper. 12 minutes and Georgia made a run down the right, she delayed the cross and it cleared Step in the box but was collected by Wiki who went down, then like a jack in the box, jumped up and made a good header that the keeper saved under the crossbar. 15 minutes of Moulton pressure saw Steph make a break from the edge of her own area. She went past player after player couldn't get her shot away but the ball broke to Antonella who shot and the keeper again saved above her head. Shannon was on the right after 20 minutes and cut inside where Sarah took over thye ball and had a shot which went high. Moulton won a corner on the left, taken by Wiki, which created panic in Desborough's goal. The ball was nearly cleared but went up in the air on the goalline and Calista jumped high and forced the ball over the line for 1-0 Moulton. This would surely open the floodgates. On 26 minutes Sarah found Georgia on the right, she steadied herself and put over a lovely cross, Steph rose and nodded the ball in for Moulton's second.
Just two minutes later Steph set off on another run, advanced on goal and beat the keeper to make it 3-0 Moulton. Georgia continued to be a thorn in Desborough's side and on 33 minutes another good run saw her cross to Steph for a tap in, only for the keeper to dive and intercept.
A minute later Steph passed to Georgia who crossed. As the ball broke Princess took a touch, turned and hammered it into the net for 4-0. Her first league goal for Moulton and a good one at that. Desborough's keeper was having a really good game and making save after save despite the scoreline. On a rare Desborough foray forward their number 18 had a good effort that narrowly cleared Moulton's crossbar. On 41 minutes Kim won the ball in midfield and made a lovely pass to Steph, who turned this way and that before scoring with ease.5-0. Then Princess and Steph combined but were kept out by the keeper. Half Time 5-0 Moulton.

It took just 5 minutes into the send half for Moulton to increase their lead. Steph passed to Sarah who appeared to misshit her shot but the ball looped up and went in at the far post. 6-0. A few minutes later and Georgia cruised down the right and cut in. She smashed her shot against the keeper and the ball then struck the crossbar and away for a corner. On the hour Cally fed Georgia who in turn found Steph who outpaced the defence but a heavy touch saw the ball through to the keeper. On 68 minutes another Georgia break saw her again hit the keeper but this time twice, the ball broke to Steph who couldn't connect and as it broke loose Princess prodded over the line for her second goal.
Almost from the kickoff Desborough broke down the left, the ball found it's way to number 16 who hit a high hard shot that cleared everyone and found the back of the net for 7-1.
74 minutes and another Georgia run saw a through ball chased by 2 Moulton players. Wike got there first and her shot was parried by the keeper but it found its way inside the post for 8-1. Two minutes from the end Desborough attacked and a high ball was parried by Harriet onto the bar and as it came down she caught it to clear the danger. With just a minute left Fi, again marauding forward, found Steph on another run. She controlled the ball and scored with ease 9-1 and a convincing win for Moulton Ladies. Well done all, a good display all round.
