A hard , fast start to the match with both sides showing quality and fight. End to end stuff with Harriet in Moulton's goal in fine form.
In ther 37th minute Bugbrooke made the breakthrough with a goal from Chin. This could have shaken Moulton but they all dug in and went searching for the equaliser. Eventually Moulton scored with Millie getting the equaliser a few minutes from Half Time.
Second half much the same with two committed teams fighting for the upper hand. It was Moulton who made the breakthrough with Sophie Taylor scoring to put Moulton up 2-1 on approx 65 minutes. This spurred on Bugbrooke but Moulton's defence was superb.
However on 80 minutes Hings scored the equaliser for Bugbrooke and a draw looked the likely outcome of a good competitive match. Unfortunately with just two minutes remaining, substitute Jones pinched the win for Bugbrooke in the 88th minute.
Unlucky Moulton but what a great effort by all the players and subs. Manager Dave was really pleased with all the players and awarded them all POM for their performances. The two teams meet again in 2 weeks just before Christmas.
Sad footnote. Sophie Taylor ended up in hospital with a bad elbow injury and will be out for 4/6 weeks. Such a shame as she has settled into the club really well and has scored some important goals. Take it easy and get well Sophie. Thanks to Reedy for taxi to hospital and staying with Sophie, the updates regarding the cutting off of the no 10 shirt. Her sense of humour knows no bounds , unfortunately, but what a super Club Lady. Well done Reedy, weirdo!x
Another tough match next week on lead up to Christmas break.
