Moulton seemed disorganised at the start and gave the ball away in midfield, Harpole's 21 took the ball on and shot in to the goal at the far post for 1-0 Harpole in the first minute. On 4 minutes another error at the back allowed a cross from the left turned in by 21 again for 2-0 Harpole. Moulton then attacked and Sophie T. had a good run through the middle, the keeper stopped the first effort and the 2nd was cleared. 9 minutes had gone when Harriet made a good save from another Harpole effort. Another defensive mistake on 11 minutes saw Harpole take advantage of the error and score again for 3-0 Harpole. A crazy scoreline. Partly Harpole being rampant and partly Moulton defence was having a shocker.
Moulton then started to get into the game and putting more energy into their play, however on 17 minutes a Harpole break saw a good cross from the right eventually cleared. On 24 minutes a long ball from Moulton was headed away for a corner. Wiki's hard and low corner was put behind by a Moulton player. Moulton were coming into the match now and dominating. A break saw Sophie and Morgan going through the middle, Sophie took it on and her shot looked in until it curved away at the last second past the post. Wiki then chased a lost cause and somehow kept the ball in play, she then put over a wicked cross that was turned in by a Harpole defender. 40 minutes had elapsed when a lovely Moulton move saw the ball pass along the line with all the forwards involved, it found Wiki on the left of centre, she took a touch onto her right foot and hammered a shot that the keeper touched but couldn't stop, 3-2 Harpole. Moulton were now dominating the game and Jade, 12, saw a good shot just go past the post. Then Sophie had an effort that Harpole just managed to smother away. HT 3-2 Harpole.
2nd half started with Moulton now dominating play. Hoever Harpole were still dangerous on the break and a corner was cleared eventually by Moulton's defence. 66 minutes and most Moulton attackers were involved in a break with Morgan having a shot that just cleared the post. On 77 minutes Moulton attacked through Sophie and when the ball came over it just evaded Steph. One minute later Harpole number 11 charged through the middle and Moulton's defence were caught for pace and when Reedy came out the forward toe poked her shot past Reedy into the net for 4-2 Harpole. This effectively finished the match and although Moulton tried hard the match ended 4-2 to Harpole.
