Moulton returned to Brunting Rd and faced local rivals ON Chenecks in a Spartan South Midlands Div 1 clash. On a lovely November afternoon, the game started as an even affair, but the home side had the first opportunity after 15 mins when Derek Okoye hit the post and minutes later Philippe Mederios pulled off a great stop to deny the visitors. Chenecks struck first however when Ben Jackson gave away a penalty and Dan Holman converted from the spot to give the visitors the lead, and minutes later Mederios was in action again keeping his side in it with a save from a free kick. The home side were beginning to take a hold in the game and Okoye had a great chance but headed straight at the keeper following an Andy Hall free kick and then Ben Alibone sliced a shot well wide when in a decent position. With half time beckoning Moulton got a deserved equaliser when after good work by Okoye in the box top scorer Joey Evans finished in the bottom corner.

Cole Mason replaced Ben Alibone at half time and was soon in the action with a burst down the right and his cross found Evans, who’s goal bound shot hit Okoye and was cleared by the visitors defence. Tom O Neill was getting plenty of space down the left and one such foray saw Okoye pull a shot wide. The game was there to be won for both sides and Chenecks were reduced to 10 men when Callum Westwood was dismissed for 2 yellow cards .....Moulton presses forward but the visitors held firm , and a draw was a fair result in the end .....
