After their win on Saturday, Moulton are again back in home action on Tuesday when they welcome Easington Sports to Brunting Road (KO 7:45).
Easington Sports, nicknamed ’The Clan’, are based just on the outskirts of Banbury, Oxfordshire. Their away colours are Yellow shirts & socks, black shorts. The club was established in 1946 and initially played in the Oxfordshire Junior League. In 1972, Easington moved up to Division One A of the Hellenic League. League reorganisation in 1972 saw them placed in Division Two, which was merged into Division One the following year. The club remained in Division One until 2000, when league reorganisation saw the division split into eastern and western divisions, with Easington placed in Division One West. They were transferred to Division One East in 2012, back to Division One West in 2013, to Division One East again for the 2014–15 season and then back to Division One West again the following season. In 2018–19 Easington were Division One West champions, earning promotion to the Premier Division. At the end of the 2020–21 season the club were transferred to the Premier Division South of the United Counties League.
Last season saw them end up in 14th position with 38 pts from their 36 games (Won 11; Drew 5; Lost 20). Their last four games of the season saw them win twice away at Bugbrooke St Michaels (1-0) and Lutterworth (3-0, lose one at home to Leicester Nirvana (0-1) and draw away on the last day of the season away at Daventry Town (0-0).
Their first home game of the season on Saturday saw them go down 1-4 v Eynesbury Rovers.
Tuesday nights referee is scheduled as Jake Bloom, who last officiated our home win v Huntingdon Town in March 2025 (6-0).
