
Moulton are back on their travels on Wednesday evening (12 Nov) when they make their way over to the outskirts of Banbury to play Easington Sports - KO 7:30.
‘The Clan’ currently occupy 16th position in the league with 15 points from their 17 games (4 wins; 3 draws; 10 defeats). Back at the end of July, our 2nd game in the league, we won 2-1 against ‘The Clan’, goals from Nathan Amaning and Will Russell. Easington took until their 5th game to record their first win v Bugbrooke (A), their other wins coming away v Leicester Nirvana, notably at home to league leaders Nuneaton (3-0) and Godmanchester (A). Their last 5 league games has seen two wins (see above - Nuneaton & Godmanchester) and three defeats v ON Chenecks (H) 0-3, Histon (A) 3-5 and last weekend v Histon (H) 0-2. A week ago they progressed in the Oxford Senior Cup with a 5-0 home win v Goring United, but were knocked out of the FA Vase (1st Round Proper) in October at home v Sherwood Colliery 0-3.
Wednesday’s referee is scheduled at Charles Braven who has officiated three previous games involving Moulton, last seasons away win v Buckingham (2-0), the previous seasons draw away at Leighton Town Development (1-1) and this seasons 1-0 win at home v Bugbrooke St.Michaels.
