(H/T 2-1)
Moulton travelled to Wellingborough Town Development looking to bounce back from the cup exit during the week.
Moulton started well, trying to play football on a very well maintained Wellingborough pitch, with the host looking to hit on the counter attack. The opening goal came 20 minutes into the first half, where an exquisite through ball by Kairis, found Toby, who fired past the keeper, who could only wave at the ball as it flew past him. Wellingborough equalised in the 25th, with an easier header at the back post. Moulton took the lead again in the 35th, with a longer ball from Mason not being dealt with and it falling to Toby, who slotted it home.
Ht 2-1
Moulton started the second half brightly and almost found a third with Kyle latching onto Josh's through ball, but pull it just wide. Moulton struggled to create anything else and Wellingborough started to turn the screw with their centre midfielder taking control of the middle of the pitch. Their equaliser came about after a promising run by their left winger who cut it back from the goal line, leaving an easy tap in for the opposite winger in the 70th minute. Wellingborough scored their winner in 75th, after Moulton's midfield lost the ball cheaply and they countered effectively and produced a fine finish to take all 3 points.
