Moulton Reserves faced 2nd placed Harborough reserves for the third time already this season, with 1 win a piece so far. With the first two fixtures away from home, it was nice to be back at Brunting Road.
Game started with Harborough dominated possession but unable to create anything substantial with it. That pattern of play continued for the first 20 minutes, with Moulton slowly growing into the game. A few efforts from distance from both teams didn't trouble either keeper. Moultons best attack in the first half came from a Toby cross which was fired across goal which Davide chested over from 5 yards out.
Reserves H/T 0-0
The second half was very similar to the first, with Harborough dominating possession but being nullified by Moulton's defence. Harborough's frustration grew as the game went on, which saw their centre half picking up 2 needless yellows and a red, leaving them to survive the last 10 minutes with 10 players.
With the extra player Moulton started to create chance of their own, with Davide striking the bar before pulling his next effort wide. His punishment was to be replaced by the veteran striker Kairis for the final minutes.
