Moulton Reserves welcomed bottom club Rothwell Corinthians Res to a cool and blustery Brunting Road and took a 7th minute lead through Ayebonor Ntino. However, Rothwell came back into the match and equalised with 13 mins gone, increasing their tally 8 mins later to make it 2-1.

Although Moulton did have numerous chances in the 2nd half they could not convert them. Moulton’s chances of an equaliser took a blow on 56 mins when goal scorer Ntino saw the referee produce a red card. With the game advancing into injury time, Rothwell scored again to put the result out off reach for Moulton.
