Moulton visited top of the table, Wootton St. George with the tough task of getting a positive result. Wootton had only conceded 3 goals in their 8 home league game this season.
Moulton started brightly although they were playing uphill, against the wind and with the sun in our eyes. Whilst Moulton played the possession game, Wootton looked to play the territory game with former Moulton speedster Shaun Wikes being their main outlet.
Moulton had chances to take the lead as Durrell had a wayward shot, Patrick spurned a 1 on 1 chance and Josh's header went just wide.
Wootton took the lead on the half hour mark, through a shot on the edge of the box and then went 2-0 up with a header from a corner in the 43rd minute.

Moulton had the environmental advantages in the 2nd half and probed away at their defence without much joy. Moulton did manage to pull 1 back in the 60th minute when Greg's wind-assisted shot from distance found the top corner.
Wootton had some opportunities of their own but was unable to the net again. As time was running out, both Luke and Greg opportunities to create further chances from freekicks newr the halfway, only for both to send the ball wide of the goal.
